October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month
This month for #DVAM (Domestic Violence Awareness Month), we will be participating in numerous events and posting articles on our social media sites focused on Domestic Violence, its impact on lives, and topics of prevention and awareness.
On October 6, 2016 at 7 PM join us for our annual Candlelight Vigil as part of Domestic Violence Awareness Month at the Owen Brown Interfaith Center. For more information and to register for a free ticket, click here.
We are also part of the Allstate Foundation’s Purple Purse Challenge, where charities benefiting domestic violence survivors compete to raise the most money with the top teams winning grand prize cash donations from The Allstate Foundation. You can help HopeWorks continue to build momentum in our goal of ending Domestic Violence in our community by contributing to our Purple Purse fundraising event this month. Every dollar makes a difference. Click here to contribute or select the “Donate Now” button on the widget to the right.
Thank you so much for your support of the work we do for survivors in Howard County.
