HopeWorks could not operate without the generosity of community organizations, businesses and individuals! There are many ways you can support HopeWorks; including making a monetary contribution that directly supports our services and programs or donating an item from our Urgent Needs List.
When can I drop off items at HopeWorks?
Items detailed on our Urgent Needs List can be dropped off at our main office during business hours on Monday – Friday between 9am – 5pm. Please contact our Office Manager at 410-997–0304 or by email with questions about donations.
Do you accept clothing?
We don’t accept clothing donations, but we often refer our clients to the Christian Women’s Thrift Store of Ellicott City (410-465-1060) who are in need of clothing items.
How can I make a monetary donation to HopeWorks?
Donating to HopeWorks is easy! You can donate online using the Donate button on our website, mail a check to HopeWorks of Howard County, 9770 Patuxent Woods, Drive, Ste. 300, Columbia, MD 21046 (please make checks payable to HopeWorks of Howard County), or call us and we can take your credit card information via telephone.
Can I get a tax receipt for my donations?
All donors can receive a tax receipt. If you are dropping off a donation item to HopeWorks, we will immediately provide you with an in-kind donation receipt. Please be prepared to estimate the value of your donation. Financial donors will be mailed an acknowledgment letter, which includes our tax information.
